Three Colors Make So Many More
Just three colors can make so many more!
Why?
Red, yellow and blue are called the primary colors. They are the starting colors that painters use to make lots of other colors!
Mix red and yellow, and you get orange. Mix yellow and blue, and you get green. Mix blue and red, and you get purple. Add a little more or a little less of one color, and you can make even more shades!
Try it
Put a little red, yellow and blue paint 🎨 on a plate. Mix two colors at a time with a brush. Can you make orange, green and purple? Now try adding a tiny bit more of one color. What new color did you make?
