Animals 1: Pets and Farm Friends is a free unit for ages 2–4 with 10 animals: cat, dog, cow, duck, fish, goat, horse, mouse, rabbit and frog. It has three downloads that use the same animals, so your child meets each word in a mini book, on cards and in busy book activities.

How to use this unit
- Start with the mini book. Look, listen, say “I see a …” and play, one or two animals per session.
- Add the flashcards. Play the games: make a sound and your child points, hide the cards and hunt, move like the animal.
- Finish with the busy book pages. Shadow match, count to 5, find and circle, big and small, and follow the path. Print and laminate for wipe-clean play.
